Leander ISD's Vision is that "Every student is encouraged, supported, and challenged to achieve the highest levels of knowledge, skills, and character."

It will be an "out of the world" fun and educational experience for the whole family. Activities include:

• Hands-on science demo and activities, such as Stomp Rocket, Model of the Solar System and Lava Layering.
• Mobile Planetarium shows. Space is limited and open to Giddens students on a first-come, first-serve basis.
• Moon rock collection and door prizes.

Voluntary student transfers will be permitted to other elementary campuses within the district on a space and staffing available basis. Children who currently attend the campus as a fourth grader, either as a zoned student or as a transfer student, will be permitted to attend the current campus as a transfer in the next school year, and siblings will be permitted to transfer in on a space and staff available basis.
